Sunny Zhang

Hi, my name is Sunny Zhang and I’m in grade eleven at Western Canada High School. I have really enjoyed math since I was a kid and have had the privilege to attend two different math camps. I learned a lot of these camps and understanding that math is often not the favorite topic of every student, I want to share some of the things I have learned in the past few years that I think really make math a great subject to study. Can’t wait to meet you all!

Allen Guo-Lu

Hi everyone! My name is Allen. I am in grade 7 GATE. My favorite subject is math because it helps to think analytically and improves your problem-solving skills. When I was in grade 4 I got into the top 50 of the WMO2018 Canadian Finals. In grade 5 I received a bronze medal at the Math League International Tournament. In grade 6 I got 150 points in the Math Kangaroo contest, as well as placing in top 3 of CNML (nationwide). These classes will help grade 3-4 students who are interested in math to develop their understanding and interest in exploring math. I will work through past contest problems focusing on concepts like geometry, logic, and probability. These will help build up more confidence and a strong foundation in math. I look forward to meeting you soon!
